Nov 7 Depart Toronto for Tel Aviv.
Nov 8 Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel-Aviv, continue to Nazareth for dinner and Overnight.
Nov 9 After breakfast, drive to Cana of Galilee where the newly baptized Jesus performed the first miracle, turning water into wine at the wedding feast. Take a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Next to Capernaum, home of Our Lord during his ministry. After visiting the synagogue where he taught, drive on to Tabgha. This was the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes. Next the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Here he said to Peter, “Feed my lambs, feed my sheep”. Motor up to the Mt. of Beatitudes the site of the Sermon of the Mount where Jesus preached to the people. The beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee and entire Galilee is spectacular. Dinner and overnight.
Nov 10 Today we visit Nazareth, Basilica of the Annunciation visit Joseph’s workshop, the cave of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. There is ample time to walk in the streets of Our Lord’s boyhood town. Drive to Haifa, Mt. Carmel home of the Prophets Elijah and Elisha; for a scenic view of the city and the port. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Nov 11 This morning, stand on top the Mt. of Olives as Jesus did and enjoy the spectacular view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem, significant to Christians, Jews and Moslems. Visit the Church of Pater Noster (commemorating the Our Father), the Chapel of Ascension and then walk the “Palm Sunday Road” visiting on the way Dominus Flevit, Jesus Wept, and to the Russian Church. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done and the Church of All Nations and the rock of Agony. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the birthplace of Jesus and one of the most revered sites, the Church of Nativity, the Manger, the Church of St. Catherine, the Grotto of St. Jerome and the Shepherds’ Fields. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Nov 12 Enter the Old City of Jerusalem where everyday life and winding cobblestone streets have remained much the same over the centuries. Sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne and view the Pool of Bethesda. Visit the Chapel of Flagellation, Lithostrotos and the arch of the Ecce Homo”. Follow the Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross) through the narrow alleys and bazaars to the holiest shrine in Christendom, Church of the Holy Sepulchre to visit Golgotha and the Tomb of Our Lord. Return to hotel. Back to Hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Nov 13 After breakfast , take an excursion to the summit of Mount Tabor to visit the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus and the beautiful scenery of the valley of Jezreel. Continue through the Jordan Valley to ancient Jericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city which was conquered by Joshua. From the top of the ancient “tel”, you’ll have an excellent view of Elisha’s Fountain and the Mt. of Temptation. Dinner and overnight in Jericho
Nov 14 From the Temple Area; view the beautiful Dome of the Rock, el Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third major sacred mosque, and the Wailing Wall, holiest shrine in the world for Jews. Drive to Mt Sion, Dormition Abbey, the Upper Room, revered as the site of the Last Supper. Then survey the Dormition Abbey, St. Peter in Gallicantu where Peter denied Jesus three times, and King David’s Tomb. Then go to Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist, to visit the Visitation Church where Mary proclaimed her famous “Magnificat in Jericho.
Nov 15 Today, we drive along the coastal site to Caesarea, a center of the early Christians. Here Cornelius became the first Gentile convert religion, and Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome for trial. Visit the Roman amphitheater, Crusader’s Moat, the Byzantine Churches, and the Aqueduct. Also, we drive to Qumran to see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls, the oldest known Biblical manuscripts ever found. Continue to the Dead Sea to swim in the salty and mineral laden waters of the Dead Sea. The sea has high concentration of various healing chemical salts that one cannot sink in. Have the chance to take a dip in the salty water of the dead sea.
Nov 16 After breakfast, we cross the Allenby border to Jordan. Stop at Mount Nebo, visit the monastery. Mass. Continue to Petra, dinner and Overnight.
Nov 17 Today we visit Jordan’s most exciting and adventurous travel experience Petra –hidden away in the encircling craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. “Rose City” half as old as time, carved from rock over 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans. Late afternoon, travel to Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
Nov 18 After breakfast, excursion to Madaba to view the map church. Afternoon, short city tour of Amman if time permits. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
Nov 19 Today, we drive to the airport in Amman to board our flight back home.

First non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 105 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
105 days before departure ………………………………………………$300.00 per person
Between 105 and 60 days before departure ………………….. 40% of the total cost
Between 60 and 45 days before departure …………………….. 60% of the total cost
45 days or less ………………………………………………………………. 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
