Sep 17 Depart Toronto to Barcelona.

Sep 18 Upon arrival on Barcelona, we visit enchanting Benedictine monastery in Montserrat and grounds where we see the Statute of Our Lady of Montserrat or Black Madonna. We celebrate Mass. Dinner and overnight in Barcelona.

Sep 19 After breakfast we enjoy our tour of Barcelona, featuring the Columbus Monument, elegant tree lined “Ramblas” and Plaza de Catalonia, Paseo de Gracia. Mass. Afternoon, we visit the  famous church of Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Dinner & overnight in Barcelona.

Sep 20 This morning, we head to Lourdes. En route stop at  Our Lady of Meritxell church in Andorra, which the patron saint of Andorra. The original statue dated from the late 12th century. However, the chapel in which it was housed burned down on September 8 1972, and the statue was destroyed. A replica can be found in the new Meritxell Basilica, designed in 1976 by Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura. Then, guided tour to Andorra la Vella, the capital city of Andorra and the largest city, view Sant Esteve church, built in 11 century. Also, photo stop at other land marks, such as Saint Pere Martir  church, etc. You will have some free time for shopping in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Sep 21 In Lourdes we have the tour to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas. We will have Mass and The Way of The Cross, time for individual prayer. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Sep 22 After breakfast, we travel to Loyola. Upon arrival,  visit the birthplace of St. Ignatius, founder of the Jesuit Order. Dinner and overnight in Burgos.

Sep 23 Morning, guided walking tour in Burgos, in the past capital of the Castile Kingdom for almost five hundred years. We visit Cathedral dedicated to Virgin Mary and we celebrate mass. Burgos Cathedral is a masterpiece of Spanish gothic architecture, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Travel to Leon, home to many churches and cathedrals noted for their architecture and art. Among them is the Gothic 13th-century Catedral de Léon, with its towers and flying buttresses, which is one of the three most important Cathedral on The Way of Saint James (or in Spain, EI Camino de Santiago), along with The Burgos Cathedral and the Cathedral in Santiage de Campostela. Dinner and overnight in Leon area.

Sep 24 After breakfast, we travel to Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of Saint James are buried, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ, mass at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, walking tour of the city. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela area.

Sep 25 Morning, travel to Braga, Portugal, visit Bom Jesus do Monte. Continue to Porto, a historic and varied city, from the warren of narrow streets that make up the ancient Ribeira district through to the grand plaza of the Trindade district. The region is famed for the production of Port, which is still stored and matured in the vast cellars that stretch along the banks of the Douro River. Guided tour the city of Porto takes us to Porto cathedral, Porto bridge, etc. Dinner and overnight in Porto area.

Sep 26 After morning Mass, we travel to Fatima. En route we stop and visit the town of Coimbra, where Sister Lucia spent her most part of her life. Lucia is one of the three children of Fatima that witnessed the apparitions of Our Lady. Here we visit the Carmelite Convent where Sister Lucia died and its Museum. We continue to Fatima area for dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Sep 27 Full day in Fatima famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary that appeared to the three Fatima shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. We are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of two younger children and the houses where Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia used to live. Mass. Dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Sep 28 Early morning we are transferred to the airport in Lisbon for our flight back to Toronto.

For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.

If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
105 days before departure ………………………………………….$ 300.00 per person
Between 105 and 60 days before departure …………………… 40% of the total cost
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ……………………. 60% of the total cost
45 days or less …………………………………………….…….. 100% of the total cost

A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.

QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.

No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.

In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.

A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.

QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for /A/ the acts or omissions of any party/ies/ other than QS Travel & Tours employees./B/failure by the passenger to be properly documented; /C/ failure by the passenger to comply with departure or joining or baggage requirements;/D/ aircraft delays, government actions, priests change their commitments as spiritual directors, etc, act/s/ of God or any factor beyond our direct control; /E/ cancellation or delay to any tour or holiday or change to the itinerary; /F/ expenses resulting from lost or damaged baggage.
