Itinerary

Ngày 24/04: Khởi hành từ Toronto đến Tel Aviv.

Ngày 25: Bắt đầu tham quan Haifa & Mt. Carmel & Cesarea bên bờ biển. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Nazareth.

Ngày 26: Buổi sáng, du khách tham quan Nazareth và Vương Cung Thánh Đường Truyền Tin. Sau đó, tham quan Cana – nơi Chúa Giesu làm phép lạ đầu tiên. Buổi trưa, đoàn sẽ hành hương lên núi Tabor – Ngọn núi nơi Chúa Giesu biến hình. Trên đường trở về khách sạn, đoàn sẽ tham quan nơi rửa tội trên Dòng Sông Jordan. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Nazareth.

Ngày 27: Tham quan bang tau tren song Galilee – roi den quê nhà của Thánh Phero và là nơi Chúa Giesu đã rao giảng tin mừng, tham quan Church of Multiplication với những bức khảm đẹp từ thế kỷ thứ 5 và Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Cử hành thánh lễ tại Mt. Beatitudes – nơi Chúa Giesu đã giảng dạy trên núi. Buổi chiều, đoàn sẽ tham quan Biển Chết – nơi thấp nhất trên trái đất (423m dưới bề mặt nước biển). Khu vực xung quanh Biển Chết là nơi nghỉ dưỡng nổi tiếng trên thế giới. Du khách sẽ có thời gian nghỉ dưỡng và bơi lội trên Biển Chết. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Jericho.

Ngày 28: Đoàn hành hương sẽ viếng thăm Bê-Lem – nơi Chúa Giesu ra đời. Du khách sẽ thăm viếng nhà thờ cổ ở vùng Đất Thánh, Church of Nativity at Manger Square. Đoàn cũng sẽ tham quan Tu Viện Thập Tự Chinh, Grotto of St. Jerome and Shepherd Field. Buổi trưa, du khách sẽ tham quan Ein Karem – khu vực thanh bình và đẹp như tranh vẽ ngoại ô Jerusalem – nơi sinh của Thánh Gioan Tẩy Giả và tham quan Church of Visitation. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Jericho.

Ngày 29: Sau bữa sáng, bắt đầu qua biên giới Jordan. Đoàn sẽ dừng chân tại Núi Nebo, tham quan tu viện, cử thành thánh lễ. Sau đó, đoàn sẽ tiếp tục đến Petra, ăn tối và qua đêm tại đây.

Ngày 30: Du khách sẽ tham quan nơi thú vị nhất của Petra – những con đường mòn nằm trong dãy núi đá vòng cung hiểm trở nằm ở phía nam của Biển Chết. “Thành phố Hoa Hồng” cổ xưa chạm khắc từ đá hơn 2000 năm về trước bởi người Nabataeans. Buổi chiều, đoàn sẽ di chuyển đến Amman cho bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại đây.

Ngày 1/5: Du khách sẽ tham quan Núi Ô-liu, Nhà Thờ Dominus Flevit – nơi Chúa Giesu đã khóc về tiên tri phá hủy đền thờ, dạo bước qua Khu vườn Ghết-sê-ma-ni, du khách sẽ cầu nguyện tại Church of All Nations và Nhà Thờ Pater Noster. Buổi trưa, đoàn sẽ tham quan Núi Sion – lăng mộ của Vua Đa-vít và Phòng Tiệc Ly. Du khách sẽ thăm Church of St. Peter tại Gallicantu – xây dựng trên nhà của Thượng Tế Calaphas – nơi Chúa Giesu bị giam cầm trong một đêm. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Jerusalem.

Ngày 2: Khởi đầu bằng Chặng Đàng Thánh Giá ở Via Dolorosa (Con đường đau khổ). Đoàn sẽ hành hương theo con đường mà Chúa Giesu đã đi từ Hội trường xét xử của Tổng Trấn Philato – nơi Chúa bị kết án tử trên đồi Can-vê, nơi Chúa Giesu bị đóng đinh tại Nhà Thờ Holy Sepulchre Church. Đoàn cũng sẽ thăm viếng Tu viện Dormition, Nhà Thờ Thánh Ann and Hồ Bethesda, đoàn sẽ tham quan Bức Tường Phía Tây – nơi linh thiêng nhất của người Do Thái. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Jerusalem.

Ngày 3: Buổi sáng, đoàn sẽ đến sân bay ở Tel Aviv để đi bay qua Pau – Pháp. Khi đến nơi, đoàn sẽ di chuyển đến Lộ Đức, dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại đây.

Ngày 4: Tham quan trọn ngày ở Lộ Đức. Du khách sẽ thăm Hang động Massabielle, hai Thánh đường và tham gia “Con đường Thập Giá”. Sau đó, du khách sẽ tham quan “Cachot” – nơi Bernadette đã từng sinh sống với gia đình trong khó nghèo. Sau bữa tối, du khách sẽ diễu hành với nến và nghỉ đêm.

Ngày 5: Sau bữa sáng, đoàn sẽ di chuyển đến Burgos – Tây Ban Nha. Tại đây, du khách sẽ thăm viếng Thánh Đường được dâng hiến cho Đức Mẹ đồng trinh và tham dự thánh lễ. Thánh đường Burgos là kiệt tác của kiến trúc gothic Tây Ban Nha, được UNESCO công nhận là di sản văn hóa thế giới. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Burgos.

Ngày 6: Buổi sáng, đoàn sẽ di chuyển đến Fatima. Sau đó, dừng chân tại Salamanca. Dùng bữa tối và nghỉ đêm tại Fatima.

Ngày 7: Trọn ngày tham quan Fatima – nổi tiếng với những lần hiện ra của Đức Mẹ với ba trẻ nhỏ: Lucia dos Santos và hai chị em. Đoàn sẽ thăm viếng “Nhà Nguyện Hiện Ra” – Vương cung thánh đường nơi đặt lăng mộ của hai trẻ nhỏ và những ngôi nhà nơi Francisco, Jacinta và Lucia từng sinh sống. Thánh lễ, bữa tối, đoàn rước với nến tại Fatima.

Ngày 8: Đến sân bay Lisbon để trở về nhà.

Monday Apr 24 Depart Toronto for Tel Aviv.

Tuesday April 25 Arrival in Tel Aviv. If time permits, en route we visit Haifa and Mt. Carmel, the “burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

Wednesday April 26 This morning we start our tour with a visit to Nazareth and the Basilica of Annunciation (Have Mass), Mary’s Well and St. Joseph‘s carpentry shop. On to Cana – the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples will be able to renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon, we ascend Mount Tabor – the Mount of Transfiguration. On our way back to our hotel we stop at baptismal site on the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.

Thursday April 27 After breakfast we will travel by boat on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum, home of St.Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, see the Church of Multiplication with its beautiful 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Celebrate Mass on Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount. We then depart via the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea – the lowest place on earth (423 meters below sea level). The area around the Dead Sea was one of the world’s first health resorts. The salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea are used to create cosmetics and sachets which are well known around the world. Time to enjoy the sun and “swim” in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.

Friday April 28 In Jericho, the oldest city in the world, we will view the Mount of Temptation, and we see Zacchaeus Sycamore Tree in Jericho. We then drive to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We visit the oldest church in the Holy Land, the Church of Nativity at Manger Square, built over Manger cave. We celebrate Mass here. We also see Crusader’s Cloister, and the Grotto of St. Jerome. Stop at the Milk Grotto and also the Shepherd Field. Afternoon journey takes us to the Ein Karem, a serene, picturesque Jerusalem suburb, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.

Saturday April 29 After breakfast, we cross the border to Jordan. Stop at Mount Nebo, visit the monastery. Have Mass. Continue to Petra, dinner and overnight.

Sunday April 30 Today we visit Jordan’s most exciting and adventurous travel experience Petra – hidden away in the encircling craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. “Rose City” half as old as time, was carved from rock over 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans. Late afternoon, travel to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Monday May 01 Depart Amman and cross back into Israel via Allenby Bridge. Drive to Jerusalem and visit the Mount of Olives and the Pater Noster Church. Stop at Dominus Flevit Church, where Jesus cried upon prophesying the destruction of the Temple. Walk through the Garden of Gethsamane, and pray at the Church of all Nations. We then stop at Mary’s Tomb. In the afternoon we continue an inspiring visit to Mount Zion, home to King David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper is said to have taken place. Here we visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of the High Priest Calaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. We also visit the Dormition Abbey. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Tuesday May 02 We start our day with the Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). We walk the same pathway Jesus walked from Pilate’s Judgment Hall, where he was condemned to death in Calvary, the site of his crucifixion, presently inside Holy Sepulchre Church. Mass in one of Jerusalem churches. We continue our day in the Old City and visit St. Ann’s Church and Pool of Bethesda. We also stop at the Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site in the world. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Wednesday May 03 Morning, transfer to airport in Tel Aviv for our flight to Pau. Upon arrival, travel to Lourdes for dinner and overnight.

Thursday May 04 Full day in Lourdes. Time to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas and participate in the Way of the Cross. Time for baths and visit to the “Cachot” where Bernadette lived with her family in great poverty at the time of the apparitions. After dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Friday May 05 After breakfast, travel to Burgos. Upon arrival, visit the Cathedral dedicated to Virgin Mary and celebrate mass. Burgos Cathedral is a masterpiece of Spanish gothic architecture, declared World Heritage by UNESCO.Dinner and overnight in Burgos.

Saturday May 06 Morning, travel to Fatima. En route, stop at Salamanca. Dinner and overight in Fatima.

Sunday May 07 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. We are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of two younger children and the houses where Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia used to live. Mass, dinner, procession with candles and overnight in Fatima.

Monday May 08 Depart to Lisbon airport for our return flight back home.

If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

Between 60 and 45 days before departure …………………….. 60% of the total cost

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.

IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.

UNUSED SERVICES:
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

GOOD VALUE AND EXPECTATIONS:
The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.

FLIGHT CONNECTIONS:
In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION:
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.

One piece of luggage of 23kg per person plus a carry-on-bag /weighting not more than 5 kg/

All flight times are subject to change with or without prior notice to the passengers or his/her agent. QS Travel & Tours does not accept liability for missed connection or any expenses resulting from an off-schedule, rescheduled or late flight operations.

Prices in this brochure are given in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are correct at the time of going to press. In the event of any change beyond QS Travel & Tours control, including but not limited to increase in the price of fuel, currency fluctuations affecting our costs, or increases in government taxes or levies. QS Travel & Tours reserves the right to surcharge the passenger/s up to 7% of a tour cost.

QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for /A/ the acts or omissions of any party/ies/ other than QS Travel & Tours employees./B/failure by the passenger to be properly documented; /C/ failure by the passenger to comply with departure or joining or baggage requirements;/D/ aircraft delays, government actions, priests change their commitments as spiritual directors, etc, act/s/ of God or any factor beyond our direct control; /E/ cancellation or delay to any tour or holiday or change to the itinerary; /F/ expenses resulting from lost or damaged baggage.
