March 23 Depart Toronto for Tel Aviv.
March 24 Morning arrival in Tel Aviv. En route to Galilee we stop in Caesarea by the Sea. We then visit Haifa and Mt. Carmel the ”burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Mass in Haifa. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
March 25 After breakfast we will travel by boat on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum, home of St. Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, see the Church of Multiplication with its beautiful 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Celebrate Mass on Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
March 26 This morning we start our tour with visiting Nazareth and the Basilica of Annunciation, Mary’s Well and St. Joseph‘s carpentry shop. On to Cana – the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples will be able to renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon, we ascent Mount Tabor – the Mount of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
March 27 Today we depart Nazareth and drive via the Jordan River. We stop for renewal of our baptismal vows at Qasr El Yahud, baptismal site on Jordan River, where according to tradition, Jesus was baptized by St. John the Baptist. We will then go to Qumran, where Dead Sea scrolls where found. We stop at the Dead Sea– the lowest place on earth (423 meters below sea level). The area around the Dead Sea was one of the world’s first health resorts. The salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea are used to create cosmetics and sachets which are well known around the world. Time to enjoy the sun and “swim” in the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.
March 28 In Jericho, the oldest city in the world, we will view the Mount of Temptation, and we see Sycamore Tree in Jericho. We then drive to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We visit the oldest church in the Holy Land, the Church of Nativity at Manger Square, built over Manger cave. We celebrate Mass here. We also see Crusader’s Cloister, the Grotto of St. Jerome. Stop at the Milk Grotto and also the Shepherd Field. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.
March 29 After breakfast, we drive to Jerusalem and visit the Mount of Olives and the Pater Noster Church. Stop at Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus cried upon prophesying the destruction of the Temple. Walk through the Garden of Gethsamane, pray at the Church of all Nations. We then stop at Mary’s Tomb. In the afternoon we continue an inspiring visit to Mount Zion, home to King David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper is said to have taken place. Here we visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of the High Priest Calaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. We also visit the Dormition Abbey. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
March 30 We start our day with the Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). We walk the same pathway Jesus walked from Pilate’s Judgment Hall, where he was condemned to death in Calvary, the site of his crucifixion presently inside Holy Sepulchre Church. Mass in one of Jerusalem churches. We continue our day in the Old City and we visit St. Ann’s Church and Pool of Bethesda. We also stop at Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site in the world. Afternoon journey takes us to the Ein Karem, a serene, picturesque Jerusalem suburbs, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
March 31 After breakfast, we cross the Allenby border to Jordan, stop at Mount Nebo, visit the monastery. Continue to Petra, dinner and Overnight.
April 1 Today we visit Jordan’s most exciting and adventurous travel experience Petra –hidden away in the encircling craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. “Rose City” half as old as time, carved from rock over 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans. Dinner and overnight in Petra
April 2 After breakfast, we depart Petra. Stop in Wadi Rum to view one of the most beautiful desert sites. This is where the movie “Lawrence of Arabia” was made. Cross border to Egypt. Dinner and overnight in Nuweibaa area.
April 3 After breakfast, travel to St. Catherine and Mount Sinai, where Moses received Ten Commandments. We shall have the opportunity to see the “Burning Bush” at the Monastery and visit the oldest Christine library. Continue to a Red Sea resort in Ras Sudr area for dinner and overnight.
April 4 In the morning, travel to Cairo through the Suez Canal towards the Red Sea. The Suez Canal is considered to be the shortest link between the east and the west due to its unique geographic location. En route, stop at Moses Springs – Oyun Musa, found 20 km South of the Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel in South Sinai, are a collection of fresh water springs said to be where Moses during the Israelite Exodus was directed by Yahweh to throw a tree branch, possibly a barberry into the bitter springs to make them sweet enough to drink. Continue to Cairo, upon arrival we visit the ancient Cairo including The “Hanging Church” of Mary. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
April 5 Full day sightseeing tour of Cairo visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum which houses the richest collection of antiquities ever discovered, including the fabulous burial treasures of King Tutankhamun. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
April 6 Morning, transfer to airport for our return flight to Toronto.

A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 105 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

Between 60 and 45 days before departure ……………………. 60% of the total cost

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.
In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
