Itinerary
DAY 01 May 31 Departure Toronto to Lisbon.
DAY 02 Jun 01 Arrival in Lisbon, panoramic tour with guide including view of St Jerome’s Monastery, Basilica of the Star, Belem Tower and Landmark, 25 April Bridge and Marquee of Pombal Square. Transfer to our hotel. Dinner & overnight in Fatima.
DAY 03 Jun 02 After breakfast we visit Santarem, the site of Eucharistic Miracle in February 1247. Mass. Afternoon we visit Nazare. According to the Legend of Nazaré the town derives its name from a small wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, a Black Madonna brought by a monk in the 4th century from Nazareth, Holy Land to a monastery near the city of Merida, Spain and was brought to its current place in 711 by another monk. Return to Fatima for dinner, procession with candles and overnight
DAY 04 Jun 03 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. After morning Mass we are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of St. Francisco, St. Jacinta and sister Lucia. Later we visit the village of Aljustrel and the houses where children used to live. We stop in Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared on August 19, 1917. We also stop at the places where the Angel of Peace appeared to the little shepherds in 1916, to prepare them for the future apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Some free time in the afternoon for individual activities and prayers. After dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
DAY 05 Jun 04 After breakfast, travel to Porto. Porto is a historic and varied city, from the warren of narrow streets that make up the ancient Ribeira district through to the grand plaza of the Trindade district. The region is famed for the production of Port, which is still stored and matured in the vast cellars that stretch along the banks of the Douro River. Guided tour the city of Porto takes us to Porto cathedral, Porto bridge, etc. Continue to Braga, Portugal, visit Bom Jesus do Montea. Dinner and overnight in Braga.
DAY 06 Jun 05 In the morning, travel to Santiago de Compostela. Upon arrival, walking tour of Santiago de Compostela including the Shrine of St. James. Private Mass. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.
DAY 07 Jun 06 Today we travel to Madrid. En route we stop in Salamanca. Upon arrival, sightseeing tour of the city. Salamanca is probably best known for having the oldest university in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. The city has been declared the “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
DAY 08 Jun 07 After breakfast sightseeing tour to Madrid takes us to Plaza Espana, Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Fountain,Gran Via, Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral. Mass. In the afternoon we travel to Zaragoza. Dinner and overnight in Zaragoza.
DAY 09 Jun 08 In the morning walking tour of Zaragoza including the magnificent Our Lady of Pilar Basilica –“Santa Maria del Pilar. Virgin Mary appeared here to Apostle James in 40 AD. Of all the apparitions of Our Lady reported over the centuries, this is perhaps the most unique, since it is said to have happened before her Assumption into Heaven, while she was still on this earth and living in Jerusalem. Mass. In the afternoon we travel from Zaragoza to Lourdes. Dinner, procession with candles and overnight in Lourdes.
DAY 10 Jun 09 Full day in Lourdes. Time to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas and participate in the Way of the Cross. Time for baths and visit to the “Cachot” where Bernadette lived with her family in great poverty at the time of apparitions. Mass. After dinner procession with candles. Overnight in Lourdes.
DAY 11 Jun 10 After breakfast we leave Lourdes and get transferred to Pau airport for our flight to Paris. From Paris we travel to Lisieux, where we visit Les Buissonnets, family home of St. Therese, St. Peter’s Cathedral, where her family attended Mass, and the Carmelite Convent, where she lived as a nun. Dinner and overnight in Lisieux.
DAY 12 Jun 11 Full day trip to Mont Saint- Michel. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the 8th century old Abbey and the ancient backstreets of Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to tradition, in 709 St. Michael the Archangel appeared to the bishop of Avranches, St. Aubert, and told him to build a chapel in his honor on the island. Mass. Return to Lisieux for dinner & overnight.
DAY 13 Jun 12 In the morning we travel from Lisieux back to Paris. Upon arrival panoramic tour of the city including famous landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame Cathedral. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
DAY 14 Jun 13 In the morning visit to Miraculous Medal Church where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830 and gave her instructions to have the Miraculous Medal made. Celebrate Mass in the Chapel, and venerate the incorrupt body of St. Catherine, as well as the heart of St. Vincent de Paul. From there we will visit the nearby chapel of the Vincentian Fathers to view the incorrupt body of St. Vincent de Paul, the saint who inspired thousands of charities and volunteers. In the afternoon we visit to Sacre Coeur Church and some free time in Montmartre, charming village famous for many artist that lived there in XIX century. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
DAY 15 Jun 14 In the morning we get transferred to Paris airport for our flight to Toronto.

HOW TO BOOK:
A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 105 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.
CANCELLATION:
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

Between 105 and 60 days before departure …………………… 40% of the total cost
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ……………………. 60% of the total cost
45 days or less ………………………………………………….……… 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 105 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.
UNUSED SERVICES:
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.
GOOD VALUE AND EXPECTATIONS:
The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.
FLIGHT CONNECTIONS:
In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION:
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.

One piece of luggage of 23kg per person plus a carry-on-bag /weighting not more than 5 kg/

passengers or his/her agent. QS Travel & Tours does not accept liability for missed connection or any expenses resulting from an off-schedule, rescheduled or late flight operations.

Prices in this brochure are given in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are correct at the time of going to press. In the event of any change beyond QS Travel & Tours control, including but not limited to increase in the price of fuel, currency fluctuations affecting our costs, or increases in government taxes or levies. QS Travel & Tours reserves the right to surcharge the passenger/s up to 7% of a tour cost.

Each of these organizations has its own specific terms and conditions for doing business and you will be bound by them. QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for /A/ the acts or omissions of any party/ies/ other than QS Travel & Tours employees./B/failure by the passenger to be properly documented; /C/ failure by the passenger to comply with departure or joining or baggage requirements;/D/ aircraft delays, government actions, priests change their commitments as spiritual directors, etc, act/s/ of God or any factor beyond our direct control; /E/ cancellation or delay to any tour or holiday or change to the itinerary; /F/ expenses resulting from lost or damaged baggage. QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for additional expenses due to delays or changes in air, rail, road, sea or other service, quarantine, sickness, war, weather or other causes All such expenses will have to be borne by the passengers.
