May 29 Depart Toronto to Rome.

May 30 After arrive in Rome, city tour of Rome including Colosseum (picture taking from outside only, no entrance), Spanish Steps. Tour of Trevi Fountian, where we toss the three coins. Visit the three major basilicas – St Paul Outside the Walls and St. Mary Major, St John in Lateran Basilica, the oldest of the four major basilicas of Rome, home to the relics of Peter and Paul. Crossing the street we come to the Holy Staircase which is believed to be brought to Rome by St. Helen in the 4th Century (photo stop only). Dinner and overnight in Rome.

May 31 Morning, transfer to Vatican, hopefully, the group will have a chance to audience with Pope Francis. Afternoon, visit the Vatican Museum, continue with St. Peter‘s Basilica. Also, if time permits, we will visit the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in Rome: See relics of St. Thomas Finger and True piece of the cross/nails. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Jun 01 After breakfast, excursion to Pompei, once a thriving Roman city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in AD 79 which caused death of those trapped between the volcano and the sea Pompeii lay buried for nearly 1,700 years. It wasn’t until 1748 that the archeologists began slowly uncovering the ancient city, preserved under nine feet of volcanic ash. Return to Rome for dinner and overnight.

Jun 02 After breakfast, travel to Assisi. Upon arrival, tour the city of St. Francis, saint patron of Italy. The town of Assisi with its winding medieval streets and sacred shrines has been one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations. We visit the Lower Basilica housing the tomb of St Francis and the Upper Basilica with famous Giotto frescoes. Mass at Santa Maria Degli Angeli Basilica. Inside the Basilica we can see the Porzuincola, original stone chapel restored and frequently used by St. Francis and Chapel of Transition, small room in which St Francis died on October 3, 1226. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

Jun 03 After breakfast, travel to Rome for our flight to Lourdes. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Jun 04 In Lourdes we have the tour to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas. We will have Mass and The Way of The Cross, time for individual prayer. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Jun 05 Morning, fly to Paris. Upon arrival, travel to Lisieux, visit Les Buissonnets, family home of St. Therese. Next, visit St. Peter’s Cathedral, where her family attended mass, and the Carmelite Convent, where she lived as a nun. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Lisieux.

Jun 06 This morning, we travel to Paris. Upon arrival, we visit to Miraculous Medal Church where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830 and gave her instructions to have the Miraculous Medal made. Celebrate Mass in the Chapel, and venerate the incorrupt body of St. Catherine, as well as the heart of St. Vincent de Paul. From there we will visit the nearby chapel of the Vincentian Fathers to view the incorrupt body of St. Vincent de Paul, the saint who inspired thousands of charities and volunteers. After lunch, panoramic tour of the city including famous landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame Cathedral. In the afternoon, we visit to Sacre Coeur Church, charming village famous for many artist that lived there in XIX century. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Jun 07 Morning, fly to Lisbon. Upon arrival in Lisbon, transfer to our hotel in Fatima. En route stop in Santarem, the site of Eucharistic Miracle in February 1247. Dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Jun 08 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. We are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. Later we visit the village of Aljustrel and the houses where children used to live. Mass, dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Jun 09 Today our pilgrimage comes to an end. We depart for the airport in Lisbon for our flight back to Toronto.

For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.

If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
105 days before departure ………………………………………………$300.00 per person
Between 105 and 60 days before departure ……..……………… 40% of the total cost
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ……..………….……. 60% of the total cost
45 days or less …………………………………………………………….. 100% of the total cost

A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.

QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.

No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.

In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.

A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
