Itinerary

Aug 26 Day 1 Board your overnight flight to Dublin.

Aug 27 Day 2 Upon arrival, a panoramic tour shows us Dublin. We will visit the Most Holy Trinity Cathedral and St Mary’s Pro Cathedral. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Dublin.

Aug 28 Day 3 Today we walk directly in the footsteps of St. Patrick. We journey to Armagh, where St. Patrick established his principal see. Mass. We then travel to Downpatrick, where the saint is buried according to ancient tradition. Dinner and overnight in the Dublin area.

Aug 29 Day 4 We travel through the “Garden of Ireland,” County Wicklow, to the secluded Glendalough (Valley of the Two Lakes). Here, we enter the 6th-century monastic city founded by St. Kevin, a site of pilgrimage for over 1,400 years. Our guided tour among the ruins of the cathedral, round tower, and St. Kevin’s Church. Mass. We continue to Tipperary for dinner and overnight.

Aug 30 Day 5 We begin at the Rock of Cashel, a formidable symbol of faith and power. Once the seat of the Kings of Munster, it was given to the Church. We will explore the majestic ruins, including the 12th-century Cormac’s Chapel. Mass. Later, we visit Blarney Castle and its gardens for a lighter interlude. We arrive in Killarney for dinner and overnight.

Aug 31 Day 6 Today we explore the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula, where faith clung to the very edge of the Atlantic. We visit the remarkably preserved Gallarus Oratory, a stone prayer chapel built by early Christians in the 8th century. We see the Kilmalkedar Church, with its ancient alphabet stone and Ogham inscriptions, a testament to the fusion of Irish culture and the Gospel. Mass. Return to Killarney for dinner and overnight.

Sep 1 Day 7 We cross the Shannon River by ferry to County Clare. Here, we encounter the majestic Cliffs of Moher, which lift our hearts to God in awe of His creation. We then travel to Galway. Upon arrival, we can visit the Collegiate Church of St. Nicholas, a medieval church where, it is said, Christopher Columbus once prayed. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Galway.

Sep 2 Day 8 We enjoy a peaceful cruise on Lough Corrib, appreciating the natural beauty that inspired so many saints. Our pilgrimage then takes us to one of Ireland’s most important monastic sites: Clonmacnoise. Founded by St. Ciarán in the 6th century, this sprawling riverside monastery was a renowned center of learning, art, and faith for centuries. Mass. We return to Galway for dinner and overnight.

Sep 3 Day 9 We journey to the Knock Shrine, one of the world’s major Marian pilgrimage sites. On this hallowed ground in 1879, Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, and the Lamb on the Altar appeared in a silent apparition rich with Eucharistic symbolism. We will celebrate Mass in the Basilica, have time for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and walk the prayerful Stations of the Cross. This day is dedicated to quiet prayer, devotion, and reflection on the Blessed Mother’s message. Dinner and overnight in Knock.

Sep 4 Day 10 We depart Knock for Dublin and visit the National Museum of Ireland to see the “Tara” Brooch and “Ardagh” Chalice—stunning examples of early Christian Irish metalwork that reflect a profound faith expressed through art. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Dublin.

Sep 5 Day 11 After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
