Itinerary
Jun 11 Depart Toronto for Vienna.
Jun 12 Upon arrival in Vienna, we celebrate Mass at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Drive around the Ringtrasse and see Hofburg Palace, the Capuchin Church, St. Charles Church, Belvedere Palace, the Vienna Opera, museums, the House of Parliament, City Hall, and the Burgtheater. Dinner and overnight in Brno.
Jun 13 After breakfast, mass at Brno Cathedral (to be confirmed), then travel to Krakow. En route stop in Auschwitz for a short tour. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
Jun 14 Today we start our day with a visit to the famous Salt Mines of Wieliczka, a splendid 3-mile long underground complex of chambers, chapels and statues sculpted from salt. In the afternoon, the pilgrims will explore Krakow’s Market Square and listen to the silver trumpet of the bugler from St. Mary’s tower. The area surrounding the square has remained unchanged for almost 700 years and contains buildings of great historic value such as the Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and the Burgher’s Houses. They will also tour the Cathedral where they will pray before the extraordinary Wit Stwosz altar. Dinner and overnight in Krakow.
Jun 15 After a hearty breakfast, they will depart for an excursion to Lagiewniki, the capital of the Divine Mercy. It was here that the message of Divine Mercy originated and it was this message of the merciful love of God that Christ himself wished to pass on to our generation through the mediation of St. Faustina. Here the pilgrims will visit the Sanctuary Houses, the grace working image of the Merciful Jesus and the relics of St. Faustina. As they visit the Shrine of Divine Mercy, they will see St. Faustina’s convent chapel and tomb. Holy Mass will be celebrated in one of the chapels within the Shrine. Later they will travel to Czestochowa where they will be able to pray in the chapel in front of the Black Madonna. Dinner and overnight in Czestochowa.
Jun 16 Morning, travel to Warsaw. Upon arrival, sightseeing of Warsaw includes: the Old Town, the Barbican, Palace of Culture and Science. Some free time for shopping in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Warsaw.
Jun 17 After breakfast, we fly to Rome. Upon arrival we enjoy panoramic tour of the city including Forum Romanum and Colosseum. Some free time by famous Trevi fountain. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Jun 18 Early in the morning, we are transferred to the Vatican for an audience with Pope Francis. In the afternoon, we visit St John Lateran Basilica, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, and St Paul outside the walls basilica. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Jun 19 In the morning we get transferred to the Vatican for guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica. Afternoon, travel to Assisi, visit Santa Maria Degli Angeli Basilica. Mass (to be confirmed). Inside the Basilica we can see the Porzuincola, original stone chapel restored and frequently used by St. Francis and Chapel of Transition, small room in which St Francis died on October 3, 1226. Dinner and overnight in Assisi. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.
Jun 20 After breakfast, we will take a guided tour of this quaint hilltop city which still retains much of the same atmosphere that it had in the early 1200’s, the period when St. Francis began his ministry. Visit the huge 13th-century Basilica where they will see the tomb of St. Francis as well as many of the saint’s possessions and a series of frescoes depicting his life. Here they will celebrate Holy Mass (to be confirmed). After some free time, we travel north to Bologna for dinner and overnight.
Jun 21 Transfer to Padua. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Basilica of Saint Anthony. Built immediately after the death of the Franciscan monk in 1231, Basilica has been one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations for people from all over the world. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Venice/Padua.
Jun 22 Morning arrive in Venice, we relish the sights and sounds of this serene city including canal cruise by motor launch to St. Mark’s Square. We view the bridge of Sighs and Doge’s Palace. Dinner and overnight in Venice/Padua.
Jun 23 After breakfast, transfer to the airport for our flight from Venice to Toronto.

A non-refundable deposit of CA$300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance with premium(if desired) must be purchased at the time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 105 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 105 days/ full payment is due immediately.
CANCELLATION:
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:

Between 60 and 46 days before departure ……………………. 70% of the total cost

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 90 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. In case the standard of the accommodation is changed, QS Travel & Tours will offer the choice of a full and immediate refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.
UNUSED SERVICES:
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.
GOOD VALUE AND EXPECTATIONS:
The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.
FLIGHT CONNECTIONS:
In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION:
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.

Prices in this brochure are given in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are correct at the time of going to press. QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for /A/ the acts or omissions of any party/ies/ other than QS Travel & Tours employees./B/failure by the passenger to be properly documented; /C/ failure by the passenger to comply with departure or joining or baggage requirements;/D/ aircraft delays, government actions, priests change their commitments as spiritual directors, etc, act/s/ of God or any factor beyond our direct control; /E/ cancellation or delay to any tour or holiday or change to the itinerary; /F/ expenses resulting from lost or damaged baggage.
