May 07 Depart Toronto for Tel Aviv by direct flight.
May 08 Morning arrival in Tel Aviv. Transfer to Galilee. En route we visit Haifa and Mt. Carmel, the “burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Celebrate mass in Stella Maris (Star of the Sea) Church. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
May 09 After breakfast we will travel by boat on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum, home of St. Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, see the Church of Multiplication with its beautiful 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Celebrate mass on Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
May 10 This morning we start our tour with visiting Nazareth and the Basilica of Annunciation. We continue with visiting Mary’s Well and St. Joseph‘s carpentry shop. On to Cana – the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples will be able to renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon we ascent Mount Tabor – the Mount of Transfiguration. On our way back to hotel we stop at baptismal site on river Jordan. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
May 11 Today we descent to the Dead Sea– the lowest place on earth (423 meters below sea level). The area around the Dead Sea was one of the world’s first health resorts. The salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea are used to create cosmetics and sachets which are well known around the world. Time to enjoy the sun and “swim” in the Dead Sea. In the afternoon we stop at monastery on Mount of Temptation, in Qumran, where Dead Sea scrolls where found and we see Sycamore Tree in Jericho. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.
May 12 Today our journey takes us to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We visit the oldest church in the Holy Land, the Church of Nativity at Manger Square, built over Manger cave. We celebrate Christmas mass here. We also see Crusader’s Cloister, the Grotto of St. Jerome and Shepherd Field. In the afternoon we visit the Mount of Olives, Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus cried upon prophesying the destruction of the Temple, walk through the Garden of Gethsamane, we pray at the Church of all Nations and the Pater Noster Church. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
May 13 We start our day with the Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). We walk the same pathway Jesus walked from Pilate’s Judgment Hall, where he was condemned to death in Calvary, the site of his crucifixion presently inside Holy Sepulchre Church. Mass in one of Jerusalem churches. In the afternoon we experience an inspiring visit to Mount Zion, home to King David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper is said to have taken place. We visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of the High Priest Calaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. We also visit the Dormition Abbey, St. Ann’s Church and Pool of Bethesda. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
May 14 In the morning, we stop at Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site in the world. Afternoon journey takes us to the Ein Karem, a serene, picturesque Jerusalem suburbs, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. Later, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for our direct flight to Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
May 15 Morning transfer to the Vatican, audience with Pope Francis. Afternoon, Mass. panaroma tour of Rome including Spanish Steps, Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. We will also visit St John in Lateran Basilica, the oldest of the four major basilicas of Rome, home to the relics of Peter and Paul. Dinner & overnight.
May 16 After breakfast, visit the Vatican Museum, continue with St. Peter’s Basilica. After lunch, sightseeing tour of the two major basilicas – St Paul Outside the Walls and St. Mary Major. Dinner & overnight in Rome.
May 17 After breakfast, we travel to Assisi, the city of St. Francis, patron saint of Italy. The town of Assisi with its winding medieval streets and sacred shrines has been one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations. We visit the Lower Basilica housing the tomb of St Francis and the Upper Basilica with famous Giotto frescoes, illustrating scenes from St Francis life. In the afternoon visit to Santa Maria Degli Angeli Basilica. Inside the Basilica we can see the Porziuncola, original stone chapel restored and frequently used by St. Francis and Chapel of Transition, small room in which St Francis died on October 3, 1226. Mass. Dinner & overnight in Siena.
May 18 After breakfast, sightseeing of Siena, the birthplace of St Catherine, where we enjoy the sightseeing tour of medieval city of Siena, including the Piazza del Campo, scene of annual Palio horse race and the Cathedral dedicated to Our Lady of Assumption. Large in scale and ornately decorated inside and out, Siena Cathedral is one of the finest examples of Italian Gothic architecture. Mass. Dinner and overnight.
May 19 After breakfast we travel to Florence– cradle of the Renaissance and capital of Tuscany . Upon arrival we start our sightseeing tour of Florence. We see Santa Croce Basilica and famous Ponte Vecchio. Also, we visit magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, continue to Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery’s heavy bronze door “Gate of Paradise” and sculpture-studded Signoria Square with the statue of David by Michelangelo. Mass. Late afternoon depart to Bologna for dinner and overnight.
May 20 After breakfast, we visit the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the world’s largest churches (the sixth largest in Europe): it’s 132 meters long, 60 meters wide and 45 meters high. continue to Milan, tour of Milan takes us to the Duomo, one of the biggest and grandest Gothic cathedrals in the world, “La Scala” Opera house, Dominican convent Santa Maria delle Grazie and Basilica Sant’Ambrogio one of the Milan’s oldest churches. Mass, dinner and overnight in Milan.
May 21 After breakfast, transfer to airport for our direct flight to Toronto.

A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.

Balance due is payable 60 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 60 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
60 days before departure ……………………………….$ 300.00 per person
Between 60and 45 days before departure ………. 50% of the total cost
45 days or less ………………………………………….. 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 60 days to departure period. Please note na-me changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
