Oct 07 Depart Toronto by direct flight to Lisbon.
Oct 08 Afternoon arrival Lisbon. Transfer to our hotel in Fatima, time for rest, dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
Oct 09 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. We are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of two younger children and the houses where Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia used to live. Mass, dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
Oct 10 After breakfast we visit Santarem, the site of Eucharistic Miracle in February 1247. Mass. Afternoon we visit Nazare . According to the Legend of Nazaré the town derives its name from a small wooden statue of the Virgin Mary, a Black Madonna brought by a monk in the 4th century from Nazareth, Holy Land to a monastery near the city of Merida, Spain and was brought to its current place in 711 by another monk. Return to Fatima for dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
Oct 11 This morning we depart Fatima and drive to Salamanca, Spain. Upon arrival mass and sightseeing tour of the city. Salamanca is probably best known for having the oldest university in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. The city has been declared the “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight in Salamanca.
Oct 12 After breakfast we drive to Avila. Walking tour of the town of St.Teresa and St.John of the Cross. Churches, convents, beautiful palaces and the impressive cathedral provide Avila’s character and identity, in which the spirit of Santa Theresa of Jesus and of Saint John of the Cross still vibrate. Continue to Toledo situated on the granite hill, surrounded on three sides by river Tagus. This ancient capital of Castille attracts more sightseers than any other Spanish town. We visit the 13th century Cathedral and Moorish bridge. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Oct 13 After breakfast sightseeing tour to Madrid takes us to Plaza Espana, Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Fountain, Gran Via, Royal Palace. Some free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Oct 14 After breakfast depart to Zaragoza. In the afternoon walking tour of Zaragoza including the magnificent Our Lady of Pilar Basilica –“Santa Maria del Pilar.” Virgin Mary appeared here to Apostle James in 40 AD. Of all the apparitions of Our Lady reported over the centuries, this is perhaps the most unique, since it is said to have happened before her Assumption into Heaven, while she was still on this earth and living in Jerusalem. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Zaragoza.
Oct 15 Today we depart for Lourdes. Upon arrival Mass, some free time, dinner, procession with candles and overnight.
Oct 16 Full day in Lourdes. Time to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas and participate in the Way of the Cross. Time for baths and visit to the “Cachot” where Bernadette lived with her family in great poverty at the time of apparitions. Mass. After dinner procession with candles. Overnight in Lourdes.
Oct 17 In the morning we continue from Lourdes to Avignon – the city of Popes. In 14th century seven consecutive Popes took residence in Avignon. We visit the ancient walled city and see the Notre Dame Des Doms Cathedral, the Popes Palace and world famous Avignon Bridge – Pont St.Benezet. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Avignon.
Oct 18 Today we travel from Avignon to Turin. Upon arrival we visit the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, where one of Christianity’s holiest artifacts, the Shroud of Turin, is kept. Mass, dinner and overnight in Turin.
Oct 19 In the morning we leave for Siena. Afternoon sightseeing tour of medieval city of Siena, the birthplace of St. Catherine. Sightseeing tour of Siena including the Piazza del Campo, scene of annual Palio horse race and the Cathedra dedicated to Our Lady of Assumption. Large in scale and ornately decorated inside and out, Siena Cathedral is one of the finest examples of Italian Gothic architecture. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Siena.
Oct 20 In the morning we travel from Siena to Rome. Upon arrival panoramic tour of Eternal City. We see Colloseum, Forum Romanum and Trevi Fountain. Mass, dinner and overnight.
Oct 21 Today we continue our tour of Rome and we visit St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Mary Major’s Basilica and St. John’s Lateran Basilica. Mass.Time at leisure in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Oct 22 Return to Toronto from Rome by direct flight.

A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 60 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 60 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
60 days before departure ……………………………….$300.00 per person
Between 60 and 45 days before departure …………………. 50% of the total cost
45 days or less ……………………………………… 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 60 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.
GOOD VALUE AND EXPECTATIONS:
The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.
QS Travel & Tours sells holidays from and returning to Toronto only. In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
