Sep 09 Departure Toronto to Lisbon.

Sep 10 Arrival in Lisbon. Continue to Fatima. On the way we visit Santarem, the site of Eucharistic Miracle in February 1247 where we will celebrate Mass. Transfer to our hotel. Dinner & overnight in Fatima.

Sep 11 Full day in Fatima, famous for the apparitions of our Lady of the Rosary to three shepherd children: Lucia dos Santos and her two cousins. After morning Mass we are going to visit the Apparition Chapel, the Basilica that contains the tombs of St. Francisco, St. Jacinta and sister Lucia. Later we visit the village of Aljustrel and the houses where children used to live. We stop in Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared on August 19, 1917. We also stop at the places where the Angel of Peace appeared to the little shepherds in 1916, to prepare them for the future apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Some free time in the afternoon for individual activities and prayers. After dinner, procession with candles and overnight.

Sep 12 After breakfast we depart for Santiago de Compostela, where the remains of the Apostle Saint James are buried. Santiago de Compostela is known as the culmination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route popular since the Middle Ages. En route we stop in Coimbra, the medieval capital of Portugal for over a hundred years. We stop at the Carmelite convent of Santa Teresa where Sister Lucia dos Santos lived from 1948 until her death on February 05, 2005.Mass. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

Sep 13 In the morning walking tour of Santiago de Compostela including the Shrine of St. James. Private Mass. Some free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

Sep 14 Today we travel to Madrid. En route we stop in Alba de Tormes, the resting place of Saint Teresa of Avila. Mass. Continue to Avila for dinner & overnight.

Sep 15 Walking tour of the town of Santa Teresa and St. John of the Cross. Churches, convents, beautiful palaces and the impressive cathedral provide Avila’s character and identity, in which the spirit of Santa Teresa of Jesus and of Saint John of the Cross still vibrate. Continue to Toledo. Situated on the granite hill, surrounded on three sides by river Tagus, this ancient capital of Castile attracts more sightseers than any other Spanish town. We visit the 13th century Cathedral and Moorish bridge. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.

Sep 16 After breakfast sightseeing tour to Madrid takes us to Plaza Espana, Puerta del Sol, Cibeles Fountain,Gran Via, Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral. Mass. In the afternoon we travel to Zaragoza. Dinner and overnight in Zaragoza.

Sep 17 In the morning walking tour of Zaragoza including the magnificent Our Lady of Pilar Basilica –“Santa Maria del Pilar. Virgin Mary appeared here to Apostle James in 40 AD. Of all the apparitions of Our Lady reported over the centuries, this is perhaps the most unique, since it is said to have happened before her Assumption into Heaven, while she was still on this earth and living in Jerusalem. Mass. In the afternoon we travel from Zaragoza to Lourdes. Dinner, procession with candles and overnight in Lourdes.

Sep 18 Full day in Lourdes. Time to visit the Grotto of Massabielle, two Basilicas and participate in the Way of the Cross. Time for baths and visit to the “Cachot” where Bernadette lived with her family in great poverty at the time of apparitions. Mass. After dinner procession with candles. Overnight in Lourdes.

Sep 19 After breakfast we leave Lourdes and get transferred to Pau airport for our flight to Paris. From Paris we travel to Lisieux, where we visit Les Buissonnets, family home of St. Therese, St. Peter’s Cathedral, where her family attended Mass, and the Carmelite Convent, where she lived as a nun. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Lisieux.

Sep 20 Full day trip to Mont Saint- Michel. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the 8th century old Abbey and the ancient backstreets of Mont Saint-Michel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to tradition, in 709 St. Michael the Archangel appeared to the bishop of Avranches, St. Aubert, and told him to build a chapel in his honor on the island. Mass. Return to Lisieux for dinner & overnight.

Sep 21 In the morning we travel from Lisieux back to Paris. Upon arrival panoramic tour of the city including famous landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees and Notre Dame Cathedral. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Sep 22 In the morning visit to Miraculous Medal Church where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830 and gave her instructions to have the Miraculous Medal made. Celebrate Mass in the Chapel, and venerate the incorrupt body of St. Catherine, as well as the heart of St. Vincent de Paul. From there we will visit the nearby chapel of the Vincentian Fathers to view the incorrupt body of St. Vincent de Paul, the saint who inspired thousands of charities and volunteers. In the afternoon we visit to Sacre Coeur Church and some free time in Montmartre, charming village famous for many artist that lived there in XIX century. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Sep 23 In the morning we get transferred to Paris airport for our flight to Toronto.

A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.

Balance due is payable 60 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 60 days/ full payment is due immediately.

If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
60 days before departure ……………………………….$300.00 per person
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ………. 50% of the total cost
45 days or less ………………………………………….. 100% of the total cost

A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 60 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.

QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.

No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

The Ministry of Consumer Relations requires that Ontarians traveling abroad be advised that they may encounter different living standards and practices than those at home.

QS Travel & Tours sells holidays from and returning to Toronto only. In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.

A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.

QS Travel & Tours accepts no responsibility for /A/ the acts or omissions of any party/ies/ other than QS Travel & Tours employees./B/failure by the passenger to be properly documented; /C/ failure by the passenger to comply with departure or joining or baggage requirements; /D/ aircraft delays, government actions, act/s/ of God or any factor beyond our direct control; /E/ cancellation or delay to any tour or holiday or change to the itinerary; /F/ expenses resulting from lost or damaged baggage.
