UNDER SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE OF FR. A PAUL
October 13 Depart Toronto for Istanbul.
October 14 Afternoon arrival in Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel, time for rest, dinner and overnight.
October 15 After breakfast a guided tour of the ancient city, including the magnificent Topkapi Palace, home of the Ottoman Sultans, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmed I, famous for its impressive ceramic tiles, and the site of Hippodrome. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.
October 16 After breakfast we depart for Bursa, a city on the foot of mount Olympus, the first capital city of Ottomans. After crossing the gulf of Izmit by a ferry to shorten our way, we stop by a ruin of a church called St.Sophia in Nicaea where the first Ecumenical Council was held in 325AD. Then we continue to drive around the Iznik lake to arrive Bursa where we are going to see a Sultan Mausoleum and a Green Mosque. Dinner and overnight in Bursa.
October 17 After breakfast drive to Pamukkale via Thyatria (Rev.2:18-29.) Arrive Sardis where we are going to see a Roman era Synagogue and well-preserved gymnasium. (Rev.3:1-6). Then we pass through Philadelphia (Rev.3:7-13) and finally we arrive to Pamukkale where we see the lime cascade formation nearby an ancient site of Hierapolis (home of Philip the Apostle). Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale.
October 18 After breakfast visit of Laodicea (Rev.3:14-22), the final seventh church of Asia Minor. Then we continue to Selchuk to visit the house of Mother Mary where Pope John Paul II celebrated mass in 1979. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
October 19 After breakfast visit of Ephesus, St. Paul’s home for three years. This is the best ruins of Turkey with its marble streets, temples, library and theatre. It is the city where one the seven wonders of the ancient world, Temple of Artemis, is situated. (I Cor.3:6, 16:19). Afternoon drive to Izmir(Smyrna) and visit the Agora where St.Polycarp is believed to be martyred at. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.
October 20 After breakfast drive to Pergamum following the Aegean coast line to visit Acropolis of Pergamum where you can see Altar of Zeus, Temple of Athena and steepest theatre of the ancient world. Then we continue to Assos for dinner and overnight.
October 21 After breakfast before we cross the Dardanelles taking a ferry to visit Troy, where the Trojan wars were fought, and arrive Ipsala to cross the Greek border. Dinner and overnight in Kavala.
October 22 After breakfast depart for Thessaloniki. On the way ancient Neapolis, where Paul landed with his disciples and Sailas. Luke the Evangelist came here from Troas. Continue to Philippi, where St.Paul preached his first evangelical messages and baptized the first Christian on European soil. Also we will visit Acropolis, the Marketplace, Basilica and the theatre. Dinner and overnight in Thesaloniki.
October 23 After breakfast we will depart for Meteora, where we will visit famous Byzantine monasteries perch precariously on top of rock formations of varied and beautiful shapes. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
October 24 After breakfast we will enjoy picturesque villages and towns of central Greece. In Delphi tour the ancient sanctuary of Apollo and home of the Oracle. Visit the Athenian Treasury, the Theatre and sanctuary of Apollo Pythios on the slops of Mt.Parnassus. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.
October 25 After breakfast we will continue sightseeing in Delphi to including the famous slopes. Archaeological Museum where you will view the Charioteer, a unique 5th century B.C. bronze statue. Continue to Athens for dinner and overnight.
October 26 After breakfast we will follow the road to Ancient Corinth where Apostle Paul lived and preached for two years. Visiti the Archaeological Museum, the Marketplace, the Bema and the Temples. Continue to Mycenae to view the 19th century excavations, the remains of Agamemno’s Royal Palace, the famous Gate of Lions, and impressive Acropolis. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
October 27 After breakfast full day in Athens. We will visit: immortal Acropolis with its classical temples, marvel at the ruins of the Parthenon, Erectheum and the Propylaea. Ascend Mars Hill, view the Agora, the House of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Palace. Dinner and overnight in Athens.
October 28 This morning we depart Athens for Toronto.
TOUR COST CAD $4,490.00 INCLUDES:

- All sightseeing as per itinerary with English speaking guide –

HOW TO BOOK:
A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 60 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 60 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
60 days before departure ……………………………….$ 300.00 per person
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ………. 50% of the total cost
45 days or less ……………………………………………. 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 45 days to departure period. Please note na-me changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

QS Travel & Tours sells holidays from and returning to Toronto only. In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
