Itinerary

Nov 5 Depart Toronto for Istanbul.

Nov 6 Upon arrive in Istanbul, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day you can relax or check out the city. Overnight in Istanbul.

Nov 7 After breakfast, check out from your room and you will be transferred to Istanbul airport for the flight to Imzir ( 60 min ). Upon arrival, transfer to our day Ephesus tour. We will visit Temple of Artemis (one of the 7 Ancient Wonders of the World), the 25,000 seat amphitheatre, the Celsius Library and all the other marvelous highlights of Ephesus Ancient City, House of the Virgin Mary, her last abode. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

Nov 8 After breakfast, check out from your room and travel to Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. We will visit Gates, necropolis and theatre of Hierapolis, the calcified pools and waterfalls known as Travertines, swim among ancient ruins. Overnight in Pamukkale.

Nov 9 After breakfast check out from your room and departure for Cappadocia on the way to Cappadociawe will visit Konya which known as the adopted home of Rumi ( Mevlana ), the Sufic mystic who founded the Whirling Dervish, also Konya used to be one of the most important trading centre on the Silk Road. Dinner and Overnight in Goreme.

Nov 10 After breakfast, we will start for North Cappadocia tour , visit Uchisar Castle from out site, Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley with its animal and fairy-tale like rock formations, the ancient towns of Urgup and Avanos famous for its red clay pottery. End of the tour, you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight in Goreme.

Nov 11 After breakfast start for South Cappadocia tour. We will visit Pigeon Valley, Kaymaklı ancient multi-level underground city which is 5 floor and extending to a depth of approximately 40 m. Then head off to the Red Valley, this beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock. Here we will hike for 2 hours to see the beauty of the valley with several rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. End of the tour, you will be transferred to airport for a flight to Istanbul.

Nov 12 After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide from hotel to departure for full day old city tour. We will visit Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, The Hippodrome, Obelisk of Theodosius from Egypt, Serpentine Column from the Temple of Delphi, German Fountain, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace, after the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

Nov 13 Depart for Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel, dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Nov 14 Full day sightseeing tour of Cairo visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum which houses the richest collection of antiquities ever discovered, including the fabulous burial treasures of King Tutankhamun. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Nov 15 Today, we travel through the Suez Canal towards the Red Sea. The Suez Canal is considered to be the shortest link between the east and the west due to its unique geographic location; it is an important international navigation canal linking between the Mediterranean sea at Port said and the red sea at Suez. Dinner and overnight in a fabulous resort town of Taba.

Nov 16 Enjoy beauty and comfort of Taba, a fabulous resort at the Red Sea. Optional excursion to St. Catherine and Mount Sinai , where Moses received Ten Commandments. We shall have the opportunity to see the “Burning Bush” at the Monastery. Back to Taba for dinner and overnight.

Nov 17 Breakfast in Taba. Later we cross the border between Egypt and Jordan. Stop in Wadi Rum to view one of the most beautiful desert sites. This is where the movie “Lawrence of Arabia” was made. Continue to Petra for dinner and overnight.

Nov 18 Today, we visit Jordan’s most exciting and adventurous travel experience Petra – hidden away in the encircling craggy rock mountains south of the Dead Sea. “Rose City” half as old as time, carved from rock over 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans. Late afternoon, transfer to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Nov 19 After breakfast, we depart Petra, stop at Mount Nebo , visit the monastery. In the afternoon, we travel to Jericho. We will also visit Madaba if time permits. Mass. Dinner and overnight.

Nov 20 Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for our return flight to Toronto.
