Jun 02 Depart Toronto for Tel Aviv by direct flight.
Jun 03 Upon arrival in Tel Aviv, we collect our luggage and meet our guide. We start our journey by visiting baptismal site at Qasr al Yahud. We also stop at monastery on Mount of Temptation in Qumran, where Dead Sea scrolls where found and we see Sycamore Tree in Jericho. Mass. Dinner & overnight in Jericho.
Jun 04 Today, we cross the border to Jordan. First, we visit Mt. Nebo where Moses saw the Promised Land for the first time. Mass. The Madaba Archaeological Park preserves the mosaic-rich Church of the Virgin Mary. We continue to Petra for dinner and overnight.
Jun 05 Today, we visit Jordan’s most exciting and adventurous travel experience Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating back to 300 B.C. It is only accessible via a narrow canyon and contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname “Rose City”. Continue to Amman for panoramic tour of the city, dinner and overnight.
Jun 06 Today, we leave Jordan and descent to the Dead Sea– the lowest place on earth (423 meters below sea level). The area around the Dead Sea was one of the world’s first health resorts. Time to enjoy the sun and “swim” in the Dead Sea. Return to Jericho for mass, dinner and overnight.
Jun 07 This morning, we travel to Galilee and we start our day with a boat ride on the peaceful Sea of Galilee where Jesus miraculously walked on water. In Tabgha (also known as Heptapegon, the Seven Springs), we see the Church of Multiplication with its famous 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. We visit Capernaum, home of St. Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, where we celebrate mass. In the afternoon, we stop at Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
Jun 08 This morning, we start our tour with visiting Nazareth and the Basilica of Annunciation. Built over the remains of Byzantine and Crusader churches, it incorporates the cave in which the Virgin Mary received the news from Gabriel that she would give birth to Jesus. The upper part of Basilica is adorned by huge mosaics of the Virgin Mary donated by communities from around the world. We also see Mary’s Well and St. Joseph‘s carpentry shop. On to Cana – the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples will be able to renew their marriage vows. Mass. In the afternoon we ascent Mount Tabor – the Mount of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
Jun 09 Today, we travel to Jerusalem. En route we visit Haifa and Mt. Carmel the ”burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Celebrate mass in Stella Maris (Star of the Sea) Church. In the afternoon, we stop at Cesarea Maritima, one of the most important cities in Roman Empire, built by Herod the Great. We can explore King Herod’s ancient port and harbor, the city’s Roman theatre, hippodrome, and aqueducts. St Paul the Apostle was imprisoned here for two years, before he went to Rome, where he was executed. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Jun 10 Morning journey takes us to the Ein Karem, a serene, picturesque Jerusalem suburbs, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. We continue to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We visit the oldest church in the Holy Land, the Church of Nativity at Manger Square, built over Manger cave. We also see Crusader’s Cloister, the Grotto of St. Jerome and Shepherd Field. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Jun 11 Today, we visit the Mount of Olives, Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus cried upon prophesying the destruction of the Temple, walk through the Garden of Gethsamane, we pray at the Church of all Nations and the Pater Noster Church. Mass. In the afternoon, we visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the most sacred site in the world for millions of Christians. This is the site of the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. At the end of the day, we stop at Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site in the world. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Jun 12 We start our day with the Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). We walk the same pathway Jesus walked from Pilate’s Judgment Hall, where he was condemned to death in Calvary, the site of his crucifixion presently inside Holy Sepulchre Church. Mass. In the afternoon, we continue our visit to Mount Zion, home to King David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper is said to have taken place. We also visit the Abbey of the Dormition and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of the High Priest Calaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Jun 13 Morning transfer to Tel Aviv airport for our direct flight to Toronto.

A non refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at time of booking. Insurance must be purchased at time of booking.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT
Balance due is payable 60 days prior to departure For late bookings /within 60 days/ full payment is due immediately.
If cancellation is necessary, please advise QS Travel & Tours immediately in writing. Cancellation charges are as follows:
60 days before departure ……………………………….$ 300.00 per person
Between 60 and 45 days before departure ………. 50% of the total cost
45 days or less ……………………………………………. 100% of the total cost
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 60 days to departure period. Please note na-me changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

In the event of a change in our flight times, with or without notice, we cannot accept responsibility for any special connecting fares which you might purchase and which cannot be changed without penalty.
A valid Canadian passport is required for all visits outside of Canada. It is the sole responsibility of the passenger to ensure proper and valid documentation. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund. If you are holding a passport other than Canadian, please contact QS Travel & Tours to determine whether or not a visa is required for entry into the country you will be visiting.
