Oct 05 Depart Toronto for Prague.
Oct 06 Upon arrival, we start our tour at the Castle District, where we see the 14th century gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica and the Golden Way: a picturesque street lined with tiny houses built into the castle’s fortifications in the 16th century. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Prague.
Oct 07 Morning mass at the Church of Our Lady of Victory hosting statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. We continue our tour to Lesser Town, cross the medieval Charles Bridge, lined with statues of Catholic saints and see the landmarks of Prague’s Old Town – the Town Hall with the world famous Astronomical Clock and the Church of Our Lady before Týn. Some free time for shopping in the afternoon. Continue to Brno for dinner and overnight.
Oct 08 After breakfast, travel to Krakow. We visit Auschwitz, one of the extermination camps built and operated by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland during World War II. We will see the cell that imprisoned St Maximilian Kolbe and the Martyrdom Museum recalling the horrors of the Holocaust and martyrdom of St. Edith Stein. In the afternoon, we visit Lagiewniki – world known as the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. Here we celebrate Mass and visit the convent where St. Faustyna Kowalska lived and see her tomb and relics. Dinner and overnight in Cracow.
Oct 09 Today we visit Wieliczka, one of the biggest tourist attractions in Poland. The Salt Mines of Wieliczka is a magnificent complex of chambers, chapels, lakes and statues sculpted from salt. Mass in one of the underground chapels. In the afternoon we explore Cracow, the ancient capital of Poland. We visit the Main Square, the Market Place, containing many buildings of historical value, such as: The Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Hall and St. Mary’s Church with the extraordinary Wit Stwosz altar. We also see the Wawel Castle, the Wawel Cathedral and the crypt containing tombs of many Polish monarchs. Dinner and overnight.
Oct 10 After breakfast, depart for our scenic motor coach ride to Budapest. En route, stop at Wadowice – the birthplace of St. Pope John Paul II. We can see the house where Karol Wojtyla was born on May 18, 1920 and we visit the church where he was baptized, served as an altar boy and prayed daily before miraculous picture of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.
Oct 11 After breakfast, sightseeing in Budapest: The Heroes’ Square, the Vajdahunyad castle, the Pescadores tower, St. Matthew’s Church, The City Opera with the panorama view of the city. Some free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.
Oct 12 Morning: Holy Mass at St. Stephen’s Cathedral where relics of Hungary’s saint kings’ rest. Visit to the Island of St. Margaret. Afternoon: Bus trip down the river Danube to Esztergom – the residence of the Head of the Church in Hungary, with stops in Visegrad – an ancient seat of Hungarian kings, and in Szentendre – a picturesque place on the bank of the river Danube.
Oct 13 Morning, depart Budapest for Tel Aviv. Upon arrival, transfer to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.
Oct 14 After breakfast we will travel by boat on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum, home of St.Peter and the site of Christ’s preaching, see the Church of Multiplication with its beautiful 5th century fish mosaic and the Church of St. Peter’s Primacy. Celebrate mass on Mt. Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered his famous Sermon on the Mount. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
Oct 15 This morning we start our tour with visiting Nazareth and the Basilica of Annunciation, Mary’s Well and St. Joseph‘s carpentry shop. On to Cana – the site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples will be able to renew their marriage vows. In the afternoon, we ascent Mount Tabor – the Mount of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight in Nazareth.
Oct 16 Today depart for Jericho, oldest city in the world. En route we visit Haifa and Mt. Carmel the ”burning place” where Elijah called the fire down to confound the prophets of Baal. Celebrate mass in Stella Maris (Star of the Sea) Church. Afternoon journey takes us to the Ein Karem, a serene, picturesque Jerusalem suburbs, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist and the Church of Visitation. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.
Oct 17 Today we descent to the Dead Sea– the lowest place on earth (423 meters below sea level). The area around the Dead Sea was one of the world’s first health resorts. The salt and the minerals from the Dead Sea are used to create cosmetics and sachets which are well known around the world. Time to enjoy the sun and “swim” in the Dead Sea. In the afternoon we stop for renewal of our baptismal vows at Qasr El Yahud, baptismal site on Jordan River, where according to tradition, Jesus was baptized by St. John the Baptist. Also, we stop at monastery on Mount of Temptation, in Qumran, where Dead Sea scrolls where found and we see Sycamore Tree in Jericho. Dinner and overnight in Jericho.
Oct 18 After breakfast we visit Bethlehem where Jesus was born. We visit the oldest church in the Holy Land, the Church of Nativity at Manger Square, built over Manger cave. We celebrate Christmas mass here. We also see Crusader’s Cloister, the Grotto of St. Jerome and Shepherd Field. In the afternoon we visit the Mount of Olives, Dominus Flevit Church where Jesus cried upon prophesying the destruction of the Temple, walk through the Garden of Gethsamane, pray at the Church of all Nations and the Pater Noster Church. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Oct 19 We start our day with the Stations of the Cross on Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows). We walk the same pathway Jesus walked from Pilate’s Judgment Hall, where he was condemned to death in Calvary, the site of his crucifixion presently inside Holy Sepulchre Church. Mass in one of Jerusalem churches. In the afternoon we continue tour of Jerusalem and we visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the House of the High Priest Calaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. We also visit the Dormition Abbey, St. Ann’s Church and Pool of Bethesda. We experience an inspiring visit to Mount Zion, home to King David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper is said to have taken place. We also stop at Western Wall, the holiest Jewish site in the world. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Oct 20 Morning transfer to airport in Tel Aviv for our flight return to Toronto.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BOOKING:
A $25 administration charge will be applied for changes you make to your booking outside the 60 days to departure period. Please note name changes are not allowed and such will be treated as cancellations.
IF QS TRAVEL & TOURS CHANGES YOUR BOOKING:
QS Travel & Tours will advise you of any change we feel significantly alters the holiday which you have purchased from us. Occasionally, changes might occur close to departure time. In such cases, you will be notified as early as possible. Due to circumstances beyond our control, the local tour operator may have to make last minute changes in hotel or schedule. We reserve the right to substitute any of the hotel with hotels in similar or better category. First class twin-bedded rooms with private facilities are used.
No refund or adjustment can be made for any portion of holiday not used.

Failure to provide valid documentation may result in denied boarding of the aircraft and cancellation of your flight arrangements without refund.
