After breakfast, travel to Treno, Italy. From its 13th-century castle to a collection of rare aircraft and the state-of-the-art MUSE science museum – a landmark of contemporary Italian architecture – Trento is full of surprises. Although its location at the junction of the trading route from Venice up the Val Sugana with the road over the Brenner Pass made it an important city since Roman times, its place in history was assured when the Council of Trent met and deliberated here from 1545 to 1563. Mass. Dinner and overnight in Innstruck, Austria.

Day 5 Jun 8
Today we will have our guided tour in Innsbruck, Austria. We will visit the Baroque cathedral of St Jakob and the Hofkirche, a grand 16th-century church housing the cenotaph of Emperor Maximilian, surrounded by a remarkable collection of bronze Renaissance sculptures. Our tour includes entry to the spectacular imperial palace, known to locals as the Hofburg. One of Austria’s three major historic buildings, it has undergone an astounding transformation from Gothic to Renaissance to its current Baroque appearance. The palace is renowned for its lavish 18th-century apartments, which give a sense of the wealth of the Habsburgs. Apart from an outstanding collection of buildings, Innsbruck also boasts some of the finest views in Europe: across the swift-flowing River Inn to the tall, pastel-hued houses on the opposite bank, and the death-defying Bergisel ski jump, all encircled by the magnificent Alps. Continue to Trento, Italy for dinner and overnight

Day 6 Jun 9
Today we travel to Venice, spectacular city sited on a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. We enjoy the tour of Venice, including St. Mark Square, the Byzantine Basilica, the Dodge’s Palace and the “Bridge of Sighs”. Dinner and overnight in Padua.

Day 7 Jun 10

After breakfast, we celebrate Holy Mass and then take walk to the Hill of Apparitions where the visionaries first saw Our Blessed Virgin Mary. Pray before the statue that symbolizes the place of the First Apparition. A steep path leads to the top of the mountain, along which bronze reliefs were placed representing the joyful and the sorrowful mysteries of the Rosary. We also visit and pray at “Blue Cross”, a place of healings and graces at the foot of Apparition Hill. Dinner and overnight.

Continue across the main square, where you will visit Dubrovnik’s baroque Cathedral of the Assumption, built in the 18th century after an earthquake destroyed the original one. Mass. Return to Medjugorje for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 Jun 15
After breakfast and mass we climb on the top of “Krizevac” which means “Mount of the Cross.” It is the highest mountain in the area. In 1933, the parish of St. James erected a large concrete cross to commemorate the 1900th Anniversary of Jesus’passion and death on the cross. During construction of the 16 ton cross, the parishioners carried up all of the materials, cement, sand, water, tools, etc., in memory of Christ’s way of the cross.
